In what order list...

Sixxgunn13

Well-Known Hunter
Hey guys,

I'm nearing the completion of my suit and i need help, so instead of always asking and doing endless hrs of searching on dead threads with pic that don't work anymore... i thought this would help.

I've owned a set of TK armor, and one of the most helpful things I found, was a list on how to/what order list. on how to dress as the character, also ppl can point out what parts need and extra person to get it attached or lined up properly,

Eg.

0. Underwear/Boba thong (optional)...lol
1. Jumpsuit
2. Jet Pack harness.
3. Vest

Shin tools on before wearing the cod, cause i know you can't bend with that on.
etc, etc.... you get the idea!

This IMO, would help noobs, and of course be created by ppl who have completed suits, who have experience on forgetting a part or what side it suppose to be on.
Also this discussion can expand into a "what to bring" in case you break something...Eg. extra tape, glue, touch up paint etc..etc.

so please discuss...or start the list!

possibly this "list" could be a sticky OR added to an existing stuck thread.

Well here my order
1 headset mic/ neck seal/Jumpsuit
2 knees
3 boots
4 shin tools and spats if you have em
5 cod and kidney armor
6 Girth belt
7 my dummy belt for side pouches
8 ammo belt
9 jet pack harness
10 vest with armor and braids attached
11 back plate
12 jet pack ( the only part I need help with)
13 gloves
14 gauntlets and hoses
15 helmet and gun

Its always better if you can put all you gear on a table so you don't have to bend over to get it.

I used a set of US army A.L.I.C.E backpack shoulder straps for my harness. There cheap and when you were a heavy pack like an MLC like I own it starts to do a job on your back and shoulders. These things are padded and the troops use em to hall like 70 lbs on crazy marches and such. I bought a medium back pack on ebay for like 25 bucks but you can buy the straps separate.

Here is the order I put the costume on. I pretty much work from the bottom up when putting a costume on:
1) Under armor and back brace (optional.)
2) Jumpsuit
3) Boots
4) Spats
5) Knee armor and shin tools
6) Cod and kidney armor ... connected by the dreaded Fett G-string.
7) Wire up voice modulator (optional) ... anyone who has seen me armor up as knows it takes me about 45 minutes to get the costume on. This step takes over 1/3 of that time.
8.) Girth belt
9) Ammo belt with ammo pouches already attached
10) Balaclava (optional) and neck seal
11) Jet Pack harness and US Diver's belt buckle (if 2 separate pieces.)
12) Vest with chest armor, collar armor, shoulder armor, and Wookiee braids attached
13) Back armor (requires assistance)
14) Jet Pack (requires assistance)
15) Gloves
16) Gauntlets (attaching the hoses on mine requires assistance)
17) Helmet
18.) Blaster

Hope I didn't forget anything. One thing I've learned is the more electronics and lights on the costume, the longer it takes to suit up.
