Warning: Issues with Ponteworks

Thanks guys! I'm hoping that Rick will finally reach out to me (I've Facebook messaged and texted him with no responses) and once the 14th is here finally honors his word and ship my helmet and knees back to me finished or not.
i will gladly pay for theee services I appreciate what everyone does for the hobby.
But after waiting over 2 years and being lied to repeatedly and totally ignored it's time for people to know and for me to stop defending Rick.

I'm waiting for two helmets since nearly two years and an armor and gaunts commission which Fettpride even didnt have shipped to him. One helmet is nearly finished but since months nothing happened....no infos and certainly no pics which were promised so many times. He is ignoring my messages also. ...it just sucks.
I have also been waiting since last week for pictures. He has promised 3 times to send pictures.
Here's a partial (I hope complete) list of commissions he owes people JUST for Boba Fett. See above for his Poe Belt mess.
Fett Commissions:
1) RNBUDA Paid 6/27/2014 and actual pieces delivered 9/16/2014 (Helmet and armor)
2) Mike Turner *Waiting over 1 year currently* (Full commission minus Jetpack)
3) Dakota's EA order (Full commission)
4) Jay's ROTJ Helmet *Waiting over 1 year*
5) Collector *Almost 2 years* (2 helmets 1 set of armor)
6) Hunter930 (Helmet)

Gotcha. If he's not finished by 14th or my items being returned to me I'm going to get into legal remedies.
If you have these options good for you. I'm just dissapointed. I'm certainly not a customer who pressures all day but months ago he said 1,5 weeks for some small finish work before sending out and since that nothing. And i have a second helmet in commision on which nothing is done to date. Not to forget armor and gaunts i paid in full to Fettpride which werent even delivered....this hobby sucks and sometimes i really think about selling the whole crap.

Props should bring some fun in our lives but nothing else but stress and anger instead.
Yup. It sucks it has to come to this. I would ask for your helmets and armor back plus a full refund.

Never noticed there were problems before the actuals. Its becoming "better and better"

I do know some of what's currently going on with Rick but I'm just not going to spill his private life all over the forum..........With that said HE NEEDS TO GET ON HERE AND SHARE WHAT'S HAPPENING. This is a crazy situation to say the least. Rick being so behind is beyond me. If he didn't have orders dating back for over a year it would be easier to understand. The past 6 plus months have been terrible for him but he's maintained his silence and that has caused people across all forums to just not care what's going on. I AM NOT CONDONING HIS BEHAVIOR but Rick my friend and I care about his well being. I ALSO CARE ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY AND PROPER BUSINESS PRACTICES.
Rick lost his job months ago and in the same week his mother was diagnosed with cancer. She's since lost her home due to hospital bills and had to move in with relatives. She's stable but gravely ill. It gets worse from here on but it's not my place to share the rest but I ASSURE YOU IT'S NOT SOMETHING THAT ANYONE COULD JUST BRUSH ASIDE. Rick is ex military and he's lost it completely. these rapid changes have just derailed him and he obviously cant cope with it.
NONE OF THIS IS A VALID EXCUSE FOR THESE DELAYS I AGREE. I'm just trying to give some sort of reference to his crazy behavior.
I honestly feel that Rick should not have started the RPF/RL Resistance pilot belt run with the major TDH projects on his plate.

My order dates back to 9/16/2014. It doesn't take over 2 years to finish a helmet and armor. Rick has not just been silent. He has lied. He has swapped out parts. His behavior has been more than just not communicating to his customers. You don't take $15K worth of commissions and disappear.
I've been as understanding as I possibly can, especially with everything you mentioned and other developments as well. I thought Rick was a friend too but he completely ignores me when I ask for updates and has kept my items and money for over two years. If you read my longer post he was able to find time for a lot of his personal pet projects before he even touched my commission and before things turned for the worst.

My private life is a complete disaster also and Rick knows about that. If he at least could finish my Pp1 helmet and its indeed nearly finished and send it out with my other stuff i would be happy. I need every positive moment i can get and not even more problems. There are not only prop maker who have serious issues in there private life.
