Here's another Iron Man related project I recently finished.
I was using these photos as reference for this build:
Here's what I'm going for and hopefully I can get pretty close:

Here's the start of the front of my faceplate (since we can't see anything on the bottom right, I'm going to be improvising some wordings there.
The floating middle section is not permanently affixed yet, but I'll do that soon.
I also need to do the lettering a bit larger, so that is also in the works.

And here's the back:

JediFyfe over at the RPF is doing an excellent job with one of my kits and has awesome pictures of his build here: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=62610&highlight=faceplate

All the parts were drawn out and designed by me using the reference pictures, so no found parts except for the foam lining which was found at Target :D.

I routed out most of the parts using a computer aided router from my drawings.
The two large eyepieces were made by hand by cutting different thicknesses of styrene, and I sculpted the nub greeblies using sculpey.
Sizing the pieces was a trial and error deal until I finally got the proper looking sizes.
I then molded all the parts so I can make future builds.

Do you just make the face plate or is ther emore to come?

BTW fantastic work so far!

What are the costs for one complete face plate?
