Trooping in character or fun/silly

Malkavian

Hunter
I did my first con this past weekend-amazing

I noticed some 501 (mostly stormtroopers) will act silly - humours posses or dance to music etc.

I however remained in character for the entire weekend-dropping my guard only when I noticed a child too afraid of me.

Whats the consensus for most Boba's??

Depends on the event. Typically I stand there since there really aren't any good Supertrooper poses. At most events I will do whatever it takes to make a kid smile or laugh. Have had to dance at times as well.

I usually put effort to just look stoic and cool when I'm just standing around.

I will give every kid that poses with me a fist bump though and when parents take photos, I'll mention I was smiling underneath too or something funny.

I usually stay somewhat in character but when it comes to kids, anything to make them smile...

that was awesome ! very nicely done
I stay in character for the most part but I am not opposed to having some fun too..........I usually try to have fun while staying in character.

I did just do a skit that was a bit silly while trooping the Texas Rangers game ..........I will see if I can post a link....

don't know it the link will work, but that is about the most silly I get.

I mostly stay in character, but every so often if something goofy happens like someone wants to take video of us dancing, I'll play along for a few seconds.
