Starships

The nice part about having multiple personæ in this universe is that one can have multiple cool rides. My primary 501st persona is a Royal Guard, with a full closetful of options from red Stormtrooper armour to black officer's uniform to a custom flight suit, and so forth. As such, when I'm not accompanying the Emperor, I'd be aboard one of these:

Although I'd prefer to have a similarly-modded TIE Avenger:

I'm also working on an ARC Commander, in which case my ride is whatever the Republic sends me in. ;) Same with my custom Jedi General.

I'm doing a Fenn Shysa, and we don't know much about what he flew in. Maybe a Pursuer-class ship. :) That leaves me with my custom Mando, and those of a couple ladyfriends. I'm figuring Imperial-through-Vong-to-Legacy of the Force-era. I like the idea of a Y-Wing or an old ARC-170, heavily customised, of course. Maybe upgrading to a bes'uliik or three later on...

skipray blastboat. the firepower of a capital ship, with the handling of a starfighter, all in the size of a light freighter.

With the space balls thing yes i saw that a few times and i will say funny, with the eclips super destroyer yeah i can see as a flag ship which would be nice to run operations out of.

but Tie's cant land can they? the are dependent on a custom rig of some kind

I know. That's why that's only for my Imperial persona. :)

P.S. Oops. I meant TIE Avenger. That was the production model derived from Vader's TIE Advanced...:facepalm

I'm sure you could customize a Tie to be able to land without their special platform or what not. I mean... I know this is all not real but I don't think it would be unobtainable to enable a tie to land on its own. Man, My Tie-Interceptor would be so sweet haha

They did that in one of the X-Wing books. I've speculated what sort of landing skids might be able to fold away anywhere on that hull. There isn't a lot to play with, but it's fudge-able. If you remember the stands for the old MPC snap kit, those might telescope up and rotate 90° out to nestle pretty close to flush under the wing spars.

Greedy I know, but with a full compliment of Tie's and a few shuttles its got my name written all over it

Something like the Errant Venture? :D

That was my thinking when I went with the Eclipse Super Star Destroyer for my flagship. :) Along with the other ships that I would have, I would have to also put the Azure Angel II on my list as well. If any of you guys don't know what ship that is, look it up. hehehe.... :)
