Star Wars on Blu-ray

My kids were watching ESB tonight on blu-ray and every time I watch it I am stunned at how clear and detailed the picture is. You can see the detailed weathering on the rebel pilot helmets during the Hoth battle.........I mean you can see the misting technique used for weathering the helmet. The detail you can pick up on the ships and models is spectacular too.

To think the film is 30 years old and still looks this good on this hi-res screen is stunning.

And then Morrison's voice comes in for Fett and I die inside....

Ok...not to spur a debate...ESB is actually fairly well done in the blu-ray. Mostly lots of digital clean-up to restore the original footage. Cloud city got a face lift, as well as the emperor. So not the same Lucas-ing as the other two movies with random droids knocking down stuff in Mos Eisley.
