So you HAVE to book hotel reservations through the CV website?

I just called the extended stay deluxe in orlando to book a reservation, and as soon as I asked to confirm that they do have a shuttle service to the convention, the worker immediately told me "Oh, you have to book all hotel stay through the Star Wars website"...

I'm lost...what does booking my reservation at the hotel have anything to do with the convention? I already bought the event tickets, but I'm wondering: can you not use the shuttle if you don't buy from the CV website?

I'm hoping to buy the tickets ASAP so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I THINK CV has special rates including the shuttle if you book through them. But im not 100% sure on that...hopefully someone else will chime in here for ya to confirm that.

I booked outside the website but I think the website has special rates. (I had miles to spend, otherwise I would have prob gone through the website.)

Ah, so you have to have a PASS for the shuttle? I guess you do have to go through them then.
