Roy Scheider passes away at 75

I liked him in Jaws. I remember one of the times I was at Universal Studios Hollywood, waiting to get into the Backdraft stage, SeaQuest DSV was filming in the sound stage next door. I had a chance to see both Roy Schider and I believe it was Jonathan Brandis, both in costume walking into the stage. Some people called out his name and he turned, waved at us all and said, "enjoy the show", and apologized for not signing as he had to go on stage to shoot some scenes.

man, a bunch of actors have already passed this year. At least he was one that had a good run.

As others have mentioned a few younger actors unexpectedly passed away.

Sucks, basically. we're only a week or two into february
