So today is my birthday and I decided I was going to,watch some SW. I popped in ROTJ and during the scene with chewie and bousch, they show boba a few times. I noticed that his rf is on the wrong side of the helmet, am I wrong or did George just miss it in post production?

So today is my birthday...

Happy birthday!

...and I decided I was going to,watch some SW. I popped in ROTJ and during the scene with chewie and bousch, they show boba a few times. I noticed that his rf is on the wrong side of the helmet, am I wrong or did George just miss it in post production?

Actually these are vertically inverted images for continuity, more exactly they filmed some of the scenes with some ideas in mind, but at the editing (maybe because of multiple takes, or deleted scenes, or errors of the director) they noticed that some characters are facing the wrong direction; example: I'm at your left side and if I'm talking to you I move my head to the right to see you and not to the left. This is why Boba Fett is inverted in those scenes to look like he's facing Boush and Chewbacca and not other secondary characters. But ESB has more of these errors, just a few of them: Leia is inverted in some of the command center scenes on Hoth to face Han as they talk in the moment of the imperial attack; other scenes are with the officers talking with Vader on the bridge of the Executor had their rank insignias on the right and not on the left (these errors were corrected digitally), and this is the result of the fact that they build only half of the bridge, and some of the scenes were inverted to not bore the viewer with the same scenes or to give diversity.

That's what I thought, but you would think that they would have tried to fix it. Either way it was cool to watch it in 5.1 without anyone complaining that it was too loud. And thanks Raf for the birthday wish.
