Lets just sit back and think about this comment from the perspective of someone sitting at a desk at homeland security...... anyone see a problem starting?

I'm worried that my door will get kicked in and my props broken just for posting in this thread...

Going to bed, kthxbye

Goodnight and sweet dreams of mandos and cool new countries and militaries.

uniderth,

it´s people like you I warn my children of.

You definately should go and visit a doc (brain-specialist).

How old are you?

Do you guys sleep? I would have passed out due to lack of sleep at about 2am. Guess I am getting to old.

Uniderth, you will find that on TDH it is going to be hard to sell "Real Life Mandalorians" This board is about making replica props. Very interesting ideas but it is just going to be a very hard sell here.

Uniderth,

Just out of curiosity, what is the motivation behind something like this? What made you think up something like this? I ask because you keep making posts like this. It almost seems like something in this world has really upset you, and you are looking for a way to fight back. If so, let me give you a little advice that I give quite a few people in that position: watch the movie "Clear and Present Danger." There is an important lesson to be learned in that movie: you don't make decisions when you're upset.

I am the High Clam Lord:lol:

There was a similar thread about this ome years ago.

Here it is:
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=24894

Are you planning on doing the same things? like building your own weapons and all that kind of things?

Come one...this is a little weird I think? Okay I have to admit, sometimes I really wish the Star Wars Universe was real just like any other fan here on the board. But...that were just daydreams...

Okay folks.... let's cut the drama.

We're treading on the raggedy edge of several Code of Conduct violations here.

RESPECT
Treat others as you would like to be treated. Respect fellow members and their opinions. Respect must be extended to each and every member, the administrative staff included. Be polite and courteous to others and keep your messages in good taste.Disagreements are bound to happen. Approach them in a civil manner, with respect to the other person's point of view.Should you feel someone has crossed the line and is being disrespectful to you, contact a member of the administrative staff and allow them to handle the situation. If a member's family, gender, race, national origin, etc. is maliciously involved in an argument, the offending member will face an immediate ban. On a final note, respect for the opposite sex must be shown at all times.

RELIGION AND POLITICS
Any discussion regarding politics/religion or political/religious beliefs is prohibited. (I'd say creating a private militia-like society borders on political if you ask me.

FLAMING AND FLAME WARS
A "flame war" refers to "flaming," the practice of posting messages to a topic for the express purpose of criticizing, insulting, or otherwise attacking another member or group of members. Flaming and flame wars are prohibited.

TROLLING
A "troll" refers to a member who does not contribute to discussions in a meaningful way, and may in fact post messages merely for his or her own amusement, or to insult, annoy, or anger another member or group of members. Trolling is prohibited.

Uniderth,

I would like to add to webchief's post by pointing out that we haven't heard much from you in almost three years and yet you have returned with virtually the same radical ideology as you were preaching then. You can call it intolerance if you like but no one here is "buying what you are selling." We aren't interested and your continued posts only serve to stir our members up. As webchief very accurately pointed out, whether you choose to call it such, your discussions regarding your desire to create a "real mandalorian" civilization does border on political and religious discussion. In addition, because you are well aware that your posts of this nature stir up our members, yet you persist in posting them, you are falling into the category of a troll.

If you wish to remain here, stop posting about your mandalorian society. TDH is not the place for it anymore than it would be the place for any anti-establishment group. As was stated earlier in this thread, we are costumers and the majority of us are quite happy to leave the lines between reality and fantasy unblurred. If you feel that you cannot help yourself but to continue to post about blurring that line, you will not last very long. If you want to show off your "mandalorian uniform" that is fine. This is a costuming site and that is a costume. If you want to discuss your views on an extremist lifestyle, you need to find another venue, because TDH is not the place for it.

As a side note, again, in support of webchief's post, many of you who are long-time members know better than to egg this discussion on. You are only exacerbating the problem and providing uniderth a legitimate platform to defend himself. Stop hounding him and simply let us know if this continues and we will deal with it. While some consider what uniderth is posting to be trolling in nature, some of the posts being made by long-time members is clearly trolling.
