ORIGIN OF THE DENT

New Hunter
I did a little research, and maybe it's my naivety but I'm proud that I located the origin of the dent in boba's helmet, at least according to the star wars movies. Apparently during the battle with Obi-Wan on Kamino, Jango obtained the dent somehow, I believe it's from the headbutt that Jango gives him. As seen from these pictures, he clearly doesn't have the dent before the battle, but does on Geonosis after:

Now everyone else may already know this, I'm not sure. But at least I found out so I'm proud haha

Your a little (LOT) late to this one bud...its to bad Jangos helmet gets distroyed in the second season of the clone wars when boba blows it up

And its a completely different dent location

I think Boba was secretly the stormtrooper from New Hope that slammed his head into the door, cause if you notice the trooper hits his head in about the area that this dent would have been, and didn't learn from his mistake, probably whacked his head on Slave I as well.

I wouldn't trust star wars: clone wars on matters of continuity. I mean, yes it is George Lucas canon but there is also Hutt that speaks Galactic Basic like Droopy the cartoon dog.

And LFL may not have been that concerned with dent location (at least not as much as we are) so in my book it's still to remain a mystery.

Clone Wars IS cannon unfortunately, theres a whole thread on this already we should probably stop beating a dead horse, the Jango Helmets not Bobas Helmet. Its a coincidence that hey put in the movie probably on purpose. But in all honesty Beskar shouldn't dent :/

Doesn't Jango get wanged on the helmet when he's getting into the ship after fighting Obi-Wan on Kamino. I think that's where the dent in Jango's helmet comes from.

haha man... i knew it was probably already out there! but hey i just joined TDH like a month or two ago, so i think I did some pretty good detective work haha

and mandosoldier!! i actually noticed that all on my own also!!! my dad and i pointed it out when we were watching it (before they added the sound effect in the remastered edition) and it's been a tradition to make fun of it ever since haha :D

The true origin of the dent is the result of residual suction from a brain emplosion upon reading Jar-Jar's lines in the script. You will notice that there are no scratches or paint transfer to the outside of the helmet.

Case closed...let us move on.
