One of ours has fallen...

I've only met the brothers once at D*Con 06 when they roomed with Blastech, but it only took one meeting to know that they were two of the most fun and sincere Canadians to ever grace American soil. You will be missed Nick, and my prayers are with you Ring family.

I have been searching for the words to say or post after I got the call that he passed. They are just not there. So, I will just tell you when I met him.

When I got to DCon my first time, I met both Graeme and Nick. They are the kind of people that you just wanted to hang with. Friendly and outgoing. We had a blast at the photo shoot with Dan and half of us being sick from the food.

Nick, you will be misses.

There are those that we are lucky to meet along the way.. and there are those that meet and stay friends with...
I have not known... Nick, but the memories that that person leaves is a testament to the person that they once were! and will continue in our thoughts and our memories of meeting him goofing off when the mood took him... (y)
To you my fellow goof.. I salute you...

Im so sorry I havent been online at TDH in ages, but I'm always checking the boards a few times a week to try and keep up. It's been as life's gotten busier that I haven't had time to work on Boba, along with being active on the boards here.

That said, I hope in the time I've shared with so many of you here that you know how much this community has meant to me and my brother as we've grown up. Every convention I've gone to in Canada or the US, to I've met TDHers who have made all the difference in the experience. DragonCon and C3 were some of the best times of my life, and I was so glad to share it with my brother and that so many of you made it such a memorable time. Your support has been so helpful to myself and my family, whom I've been keeping updated with the supportive messages.

Thank you everyone at TDH for being friends with my brother and I, I really cherish all the memories I can take away from our time together.

Jon, that drawing is so sweet, I almost went a day without crying but you got me.

Tonight, both in Toronto as well as in Ottawa, we're holding wakes to remember and honor Nick. So I'm asking all of our extended "family" to post up a picture of you hoisting a glass in Nicks memory.
