One of ours has fallen...

Well I read just a moment ago, that one of our own here, Nick Ring, twin brother of Graeme Ring AKA Jango_Fett_Jr, passed away yesterday from complications during surgery. Nick went in to get Jaw Surgery done, didn't see anything like this coming. For those who knew Nick and were blessed to be around him, he was so full of life. Living to it's fullest. I remember when I first met Nick at Dcon 06. Never having met Nick in person prior to that moment, with only online conversations, Nick came up to me and grabbed me around the neck like we were long time friends.

Nick, you will be greatly missed...

i never spent any huge amount of time around him either, but even in the small bits i did, i came out of it with a bunch of interesting stories to tell... always a good sign about someone!

nick and graeme, we're all thinking about you both.

Jaw surgery?:confused wow that would be a shock. I am so sad to hear this news! My prayers go out to them. I did not know him and that always bothers me that we lose someone and very little is known about them. Could someone put up a memorial thread celebrating his life? Just a thought.

***! What can I say... Nick was awsome... I've had some good times with him. He will be missed. This just makes me sick.

If there is anything myself or Rose can do for Graeme or his family, please let us know.

This is very shocking to me as well. Jaw Surgery? Was he
involved in an accident or something?. This is very sad news...:cry
My deepest condolences to Nick's family.

This is very sad and horrible news. I can't believe it.:(

My prayers go out to JFJ and his family. Very sad.

Does anyone know what type of jaw surgery he was having?

That sucks. :( Kim and I have always considered Graeme and Nick our "little buddies". We've even stayed at their house in the past. This is a shock to hear. :(

So sorry, Graeme. :(
