Newb in PDX

Quick hello; my name is Johnny, and like many, this is not my first build. I'm a member of Cloud City Garrison, TK8897.

As a kid, like many of you, I thought the Stormtroopers were the coolest. Right up until we got a good look at Boba Fett. I wanted to do a Fett for my first costume but was talked out of it due to time and cost. Well, I've got nothing but time now, and the cost can be stretched out, so I feel like it's time to build the costume I really wanted.

I'll be doing an ESB Boba Fett build, for no other reason than I think I like his blaster the best in that edition.

Any and all advice is always welcome. I'll read the stickies for sure, and glean what I can, but at some point, I'm sure my questions will strictly become about "providers". I can do some finish work on my own, but I can't sew a lick. I don't expect this to be a quick process at all; I think my expectations are aligned properly.

I really wish I hadn't waited to so long to put this project at the top of my priorities.

Welcome I am new as well And I am doing an ESB Fett. I agree the blaster is best in ESB. I am in the process of acquiring one. I also put this off due to cost and life getting in the way, but the wait is over. Best of luck on our Fett.

it was a chance meeting with some cloud city garrison members in october 2006 at the comic book shop across the street from the h.p. lovecraft film festival that got me interested in joining the legion. mission accomplished in almost two years to the day with my rotj boba fett, and now i'm det xo of the bhg and garrison co of timberline. so a big thank you to all the troopers in pdx.

by any chance does your garrison have any members in eastern oregon?

Sainty_Nasty - I'm not aware of anyone in Eastern Oregon. We had one fellow in Bend, but I believe he has since moved West of the mountains. We have a few as far south as Grants Pass and Klamath. But I think most of us are in Portland, Salem, and Eugene.
