Moon - The Movie

So, just got back from the independent film "Moon" with Sam Rockwell.

Great, great movie! Highly recommended. It was a bit rough around the edges, but I really haven't seen anything close to it in years. I would highly recommend it if you can find it playing in a theater near you. Very cool practical effects and a nice (not too deep) story that makes you give at least a moments pause about your life and purpose. (y)

Yes, I heard a little about this movie and it sounds like something I would like to see. Unfortunately it is not currently playing anywhere near me right now. Hopefully our 75 year old newly refurbished State Theater will get it.

The second I saw the trailer for this I thought "I'm seeing that!". Hopefully it'll get good enough reviews to get a wide release. Sam Rockwell is one of my favorite actors so I'm really excited to see it.

I'm dying to see this, but don't want to drive 3.5 hrs to get to it lol. I have been scouring the web for it as well.... given the fact that it is unavailable near me, but I guess I'll have to wait for the dvd

I’ve seen this movie 3 times; I keep taking more people to see it. Most people have never heard of it. But wow, for me it’s been the best movie I have seen this summer. That and it’s directed by David Bowie’s son, who has worked with/for Ridley Scott and his brother. The cast is so minimal, the models are perfect and the viewer isn’t constantly bombarded with flashy lights, loud trendy music, car chases, explosions, boobs and over played CDI. It’s just simple… I like it.
