MICHAEL JACKSON DEAD AT 50.

A tragidy for both his family and the many fans that stayed loyal to his music. He was an inspiration to musicians, music and the marketing machine as well. He will be missed

I have a Thriller vinyl LP, still in it's wrapper. My dad got it for me back in the day just for the heck of it.

I'm a musician, who never was really into MJ, but you have to respect that talent.

He's not dead. He's just hiding out with Big E, Curt Cobain, Elvis, and Tupac. Duh!

Seriously though, it's a shame that all the good he did in his life is greatly overshadowed by so much negativity, deserved or not.

dont forget to keep his kids in you prayers.....he will be missed but I am sure never forgotten.I am also sure there will be a over inflation of his "stuff" and folks will try to profit on his life....how sad

Yes, very shocking to hear this news. Yes he did have some problems. Say what you want about him, but you know at some point in your life you tried to do the moonwalk too.

Although his talent and professional accomplishments are amazing, I personally find it VERY hard(as a parent) to celebrate someone "accused" multiple times as a child molester.(n) Is there any other accused molester that we would consider mourning? Not that I can think of. So we let him off the hook because he's an amazing singer and dancer? :wacko Not in my world. My guess is that the parents of these poor children are feeling vindicated. I would also be curious as to Paul McCartney's feelings on this, as he was swindled more than anyone else by this guy.....:angry

Just my 2 cents.....

he had talent , but that does not excuse him from being a pedophile. he paid off parents that threatened to press charges.

no love lost.

How bout let's not post just to be ugly and start arguments. If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all. I do NOT want to see this thread not turn into a battle.

Well, shortly after I got out of Basic Training, my band was playing at a Christian Camp for younger kids called Young Musicians Camp...

My mother was the head of their churches group, so me and the band stayed with them in their cabin and such.

Well one girl (little spoiled prissy girl, whos mother literally let her get away with anything) saw it funny to block the door while the bandmates and I were leaving to go practice, when I simply ignored her and proceeded to reach over her to open the door, she slapped me across the face. So being 21 years old, fresh out of boot...I didn't take it too well. I grabbed her by the arm, and proceeded to march her 10 year old keester to my mother when she began to bite me, and hit me more. Her friends began throwing water on me and my band mates as I was marching her to my mother, the churchs leader for the camp, and about the 3rd time she bit me, she wriggled out of my grip and quickly I grabbed her again by the shirt, and pulled her back. By this time, I was so ridiculously frustrated I let her go, and decided to just find my mother without the troublesome child.

Now this childs Mother was there as well, hence her mentality of I can do whatever I want. She runs and tells her mother I was touching her, INAPPOPRIATELY.

Needless to say, I didn't The way she told her mother, was to make it out like I was "molesting" her. Well, my 3 band mates as witnesses quickly disproved that accusation. But it didn't stop the child's mother from continuing to spread that rumor across my parent's church. She stopped only after I threatened to sue her for Defamation of Character.

So in all fairness to the deceased, I was "Accused" so to speak of the same. Did I? NO! Not in any shape or fashion.

Would I let my child stay at Neverland Ranch...not in a million years...but Innocent Until Proven Guilty still stands the test here in America...

Wow....that made me mad just reading it. Little brat. :angry

I totally agree with what you are saying. IMO, the legal system in America is no longer innocent until proven guilty. It is pretty much the exact opposite, and I've seen it many times. MJ had to prove he was innocent because everyone thought and still thinks he was guilty. What I think is really irrelevant, but I wouldn't want any children staying at Neverland :facepalm.

Either way, he was a great singer, and for that reason, he will be sorely missed.
