A little direction please...

New Hunter
I've been contacted by a potential member, who wants to purrsue a Jango or Boba Fett costume for his son. I realize there are several avenues he can pursue, such as Ebay- but it's my understanding that he'd like to get the costume as acurate as possible. I've told him about this site as well, but is there a particular site that makes children's costumes that are close to being 501st acurate? Anyone that makes them?

Any help would be appreciated!

Don't you need to be 18 to be in the 501st? I don't think it really matters how accurate it is if he can't join. I've never seen much child-sized fett armor except for sintra stuff. I've seen some nice stuff made from trash cans and sintra too. Maybe he should look into doing some stuff that way. How old is his son? there was a kids dress up set 10 years ago that MAY have some decent bases for the gauntlets. Best of luck to your friend and his son.

Sorry, yes.. it's for his younger son. I don't know his exact age. And yes, you have to be 18 to join. But I think the father was wanting something better than the generic 15.00 dollar walmart costume. Thanks for the info.

Accuracy always matters to some.(me ;))
The 501st is great, but this isn't really about them now is it?
This is about a man wanting to get an accurate costume for his son.
Those of you with kids know what lengths we go to to please our children.
Contact Cruzer on these boards, He is the man when it comes to miniature Jango armour.
You can see the love Lorenzo has for his son and this hobby in the details of his work

That's exactly what I was needing. Thanks for the heads-up, bro!

:cheers

Thanks for the kind words Nate, but I'm just one of a number of awesome members who have made things for their kids out of :love. I did a little search for you locokarma, and here are some threads of the great costumes some very cool fathers and mothers here have built for their kids. I know I answered a few of your questions in PM, but I'm sure everyone mentioned below would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have as well. Also, I forgot to mention Rimshot makes awesome kid sized Boba armor, and you can see some of it in MandalorFett's thread below.

Please post additional links if I failed to mention any others.

Someone also told me of a kids' costuming forum once, but I can't recall the website. Please post if anyone knows of this website. Thanks.

Have fun checking out these amazing kids' suits:(y)
