huh, our heroes

I do love how the expanded universe attempts to ret-con these characters' deaths. TCW showed us Maul survived some 20 years as a half man/half.....spider??? TotBH showed us Boba did in fact live (a really good read, actually)... The list goes on. It's like the Marvel comics philosophy: no character ever really dies for good.
