finishing fett, feeling funny?

i'm coming to the end of my more than a year long build and with only chest lights and gauntlet hoses left i feel depressed thats its almost over.
being a stay at home dad i've been able to devote mad free time to my suit and now i will be just a bystader here. I have selected commander gree as my next project and have started on the helmet but it just doesnt
have the same feel as fett anyway anybody ever felt sad to be done. i really like hanging out here with all you guys and have enjoyed all the banter. just airing some feelings...

I'm also nearing the end of my year long Fett build, but I've come to realize that it really won't end anyway. The continous search for upgrades, better or more accurate pieces will consume much of my time still. And when it really is finished I guess my Fett needs his dad close by... :)

I love to break it to ya but like my Scandinavian friend here already said... no one never really finishes their fett... there are ALWAYS upgrades... or sidegrades*

Then if you have done an ROTJ you might go for the SE ROTJ. Or take a step back in history and make a Pre Pro.. you will never be done..

*a sidegrade is something that i just made up right now... a sidegrade is replacing a part with another which has similar qualities.. ei replacing your helmet of one maker to another. say Sgt. Fang for a BM

what they said. "done" is a flexible term. i'm as close to done as i've ever been.... that's after 10 helmets, 2 sets of body armor, 3 flight suits, 4 pairs of gauntlets, 4 jetpacks, etc...

It's a great accomplishment finishing a Fett. While most of the fun is in the chase and the build of it, there is a very nice feeling to just sit back and look at your completed project while others are still in build mode.:cheers

Just make sure and steer clear of the "upgrade bug". He will drain your wallet and your time like no other

thanks for the feedback, and one boba fett is enough for me too many other great projects to choose from out there. I picked Gree because he has armor that you can really get into weathering and I prefer that over the standard clean clone. just gotta
save more $$ for the armor and stuff.
