Got my Laws snowy kit in last thursday, and just finished it today. Built it in 3 days! All I have left to do is weather it, but I'm going apply for 501st status with this now. Sorry Lance! ;)
Alright, well here it is! I really need to lose weight :/

Yea, one problem I need to solve; sweating. If you can't tell, I was dripping. I think I need to take a stick of deoterant or fill my pouches with baby powder....

Next stop, Dirt City!

Looks great man, love snowies....but then I'm a canucklehead so it's close to home. Have you tried underarmour for the sweating issue?

Looks great but it does need to be "dirty" or get cleaner "muk boots" :)

I thought you were already in the 501st already as another character???

Thanks guys!

I am doing florida supercon this weekend and I'm going to try and get it weathered by then, starting tomorrow, but I'm still hesitant on what exactly to use for the soft parts

Sweet digs man! You've inspired me to try that next. (Which will be years from now, or perhaps I will just quit my job and do this full time)

One trick that I've heard of for sweat control in costumes, is to stick womens panty liners on the inside of the armpits of the costume. This will eliminate the ugly and unsightly sweaty pit stains, and you can easily swap them out for freash ones as they are self adhesive.

Don't laugh... it works!

LOL

While I don't doubt your method works, sweaty armpits aren't my problem. My face releases so much sweat that it drips under my cowl down to my chest piece. My buddy takin the pics at the time was getting annoyed at having to wipe my armor every 2 minutes :facepalm

If the sweat is primarily from your forehead, then a good absorbant headband will work fine. If it's your entire face that's sweating, then you've got two options available...

1. Move someplace with a cooler ambient temperature, like Alaska.

2. Consider an open faced costume, and move to Alaska.

Awesome job! With snow season approaching it would be a great time to take pics. That is if you get snow. Down here in Louisiana we hear about this thing called "snow". I reckon its mighty cold

If it's snow you want, then I can send you some in about a month or two. Canadas got plenty to go around... keep in mind that you might have some issues with the package once it arrives, as it'll probably be all melted!

I wish I could have all the snow down hear, cause it'd be perfect. However, I've never actually seen snow in person yet, so yea.

I need to move someplace that has snow...

You could always just stick a panty liner on your forehead.
