The Deathstar..real name?

So me and some buddies at work got into a discussion today about the Deathstar. At first i just realized the fact that bad guys usually wear masks over their faces and good guys dont. My buddy pointed out that some of the guys on the Deathstar dont cover their faces (officers and such). And my other buddy said "well not everyone on the deathstar is necessarily a bad guy, some are just doing their job blah blah". So then the other one says "well youd think they know they were bad guys working on a space station called the "deathstar". After a moment of thought...it came to me...do the imperials ever even call it the deathstar? or is it just a rebel name for it? to the imperials i think its just a space station...but does it even have a name?

"The Deathstar will be completed on schedule" /Lord Vader

So I guess Deathstar actually is the name. But so what? Vader's Super Star Destroyer is called "Executor", don't you think the people on that ship think the name is a little too "brute" if they had been "good" guys? :p

Its referred to as the death star countless times, even so its basically a big flying planet destroying gun, you think they'd know that if they worked there

Imperial Lieutenant - 'say whats that big hole for sir?'

Imperial Commander - 'oh that? Its just a really big telescope trust me'

Hmm. Big moon-like space station, capable of blowing up entire planets. "Death Star". Is that very creative? In the words of a well known pirate -

"I once sailed with an old fellow who was missing two arms and half of an eye."

"What did you call him?"

".... Larry."

The "death star" is jsut a plastic moon with a big lego laser glued to it ala "Austin Powers 2"

If I had a chocie, I'd prefer "happy fun ball" or "giant cat toy."

Look at some of the names of past and present aircraft or vehicles in the military and you find names like destroyer, Devastator, black widow, havoc, invader, mauler. Some of which are strong names. Does that make the countries that own them or owned them bad? It is all from a certain point of view.
If I was a cook on the original Death Star, going about my business making chow for the hundreds of thousands of people on that battle station and the thing gets attacked by "rebels" to me they are the bad guys not me.

All from a certain point of view.
To the lowly stormtrooper I wake up on the Happy Fun Ball and put on my armor then go to work upholding order in the galaxy, To protect and serve, right. Out of nowhere I am called to a PRISON break and 2 of my buddies get shot by the people breaking the prisoner out while the prisoner is shooting into the trash (crazy girl). They just shot my friends and co workers they SUCK.

I am a Biker Scout, I was out on patrol checking the back entrance of the protective shield, protecting the rightful law in the galaxy. Stop for lunch and one of the midget furballs takes off on my bike. My partners go after him and what happens to me I get jumped by people trying to BLOW UP the shield generator.

True enough Taz. People go to war or join the military because they believe in the cause and want to do their part. Imperial officers joined up because they thought the rebels were the badguys.

what about "vader's play house" similar to "peewee's play house", but in stead of having jambi the genie have a holegrafic emporer show up.
