Would love to be there for that. Might be a great reason to visit And with that, I have reached post #50. I can calm down now.
Got an email saying C VIII will be in Orlando Florida April 13-16, 2017.
Woo hoo!
Tickets will go on sale at noon (Eastern time) in a few more days on May 25.

Hah! I just got an email from my boss yesterday confirming that our yearly conference is in Orlando next year during that week. Won't get to go enjoy any of it, but maybe I'll see a little bit from afar.

Hmm. . . I don't know about booking a hotel this early. The OC convention center is enormous. There's a North Concourse
and a West Concourse. The Hilton is next to the North and the Rosen Centre Hotel is next to the West.
Celebration VI was set up in the West Concourse and the Celebration "block" of hotel rooms was in the Rosen Centre.
I think I'm going to wait till the 25th and see what the main Celebration website is offering for hotel rooms.

I would book now man. You don't pay to reserve your hotel and you can cancel anytime. I booked a room at the Hilton along with many members of our Garrison. If you know you're going, get in before they are all sold out.

If its anything like last time...their sites will be down because of all the people booking....a few of us have booked just in case....Im thinking about staying at shades of green in Disney...save a bunch of $$ but well be driving down...if youre driving you can stay there as a retiree....

Hotel booked...across the street from convention. I made the mistake of buying Comic Con tickets first and finding a hotel was a pain. See you all in Florida!

I simply looked at a google map of the hotels surrounding the convention center. Then I booked directly on the hotel site. Make sure the hotel allows cancellations in the event you cant make it. best of luck
