Cargo hold

Hello,
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm still a little wet behind the helmet. I've been a member for a little over a week now, posting where I can, and asking questions, etc. But for some reason not only can I not respond to a post in the cargo hold that I'd be interested in purchasing stuff for my build or collectibles, but I also can not post a WTB thread either, it just says I'm not allowed. Not sure who the MODS are here and I don't want to just start PMing random people. Can someone please tell me what's up. I've got good republic credits to spend, or other monetary values excepted in the rim world territories.

Please Help!

I ran into the same thing when I joined the stormtrooper boards last month. You Need to post in other threads a few times before you get access. The idea is to get you looking at people's progress, get familiar with the needed parts for the build and potential makers of these parts, and just to make sure that you are putting in as much as you get from the community. Knowledge is a far more valuable tool here than money. I think that everyone here would agree.

That at being said, it is great that you are motivated about your bounty hunter build!

TDH uses a "delayed entry membership" meaning that you need to have 5 posts and 90 days before you're allowed to post in the cargo hold. that's just the rules, same as on therpf and the hunter's lair. necronaut nailed it right on the head as far as the reasons why. however there are no rules that say you can't start buying items, there's nothing at all wrong with sending pm's out.

i like your enthusiasm for your project, and i hope to see you suited up soon.

I completely understand, I don't remember the RPF being that way, but I've been on there so long you're probably right. I did PM a few folks, just haven't heard back, and I wasn't sure if the block on threads also meant a block on folks getting my PMs as well. Thanks for the heads up. I look forward to following the rules and making some new friends on here.
