Active Hunter
This is a quick video of an impromptu race we held at a Garrison event at The Museum of Science and Industry, Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit.

The goal was to see how the most cumbersome costumes would fair. That protocol droid will surprise you.

(Featuring Tom Schaefer, Darryl Sorensen, and myself.)

The rules of either the 501st or Rebel Legion.

Here's what happened:

I was previously unaware that the rulse stated any participant under 18 must be with a parent/legal guardian.
I went with a firend of mine that is in the lgeion......
well, I mentioned something on the garrison boards that I'm 17 and I was fine at the MSI event....
one of the senior memebrs read it and informed me that I violated (either the 501st or RL) charter.
She (as far as I know) told the legion command about the incident and we're waiting to see if a "guardian" has to be a parent/family memebr, or if a responsible adult will work just as well.

I re-read the 501st charter and I saw nothing regarding the rule....
It might be the RL, I'll have to check.

Anyway....that was the deal:
I (a minor for 3 more months) went to an event without a parent and was later reprimanded due to the fact that they did not notice that I was only 17 when I've told the Garrison many tiems that I am still under the age of joining.
The head honchos are going to see if I can go again since I've already "infiltrated" two.

I have let minor's & non-members troop with us in my squad. Every now and then is fine, just don't claim to be something your not is all I say.
I also encourages member's kids to suit up and troop, its a learning experience for them and they have a blast.

Well, the problem has been cleared up.

The 501st/RL will be there for the next 2 weekends:
12-30-07 (I will be trooping this one, as I have clearance form the MWG CO)
January 4th, 5th, and 6th. There was originally 40+ memebrs signed on for Saturday, except MSI requested no more than 20....after some major rescheduling, the groups wil be there on the 5th and 6th.
Due to the quantity problem, the 20 slots are reserved for full legion members, so I won't be going for this...... Not that big of a deal, now. I still had fun while I was there.

Thomas, sorry to hijack the thread. I tend to do that a lot. :facepalm

Think maybe in a later event (after I join up) we can get another "droid" race in? Maybe by then I *might* get my R4 or MSE dorid started.
