Board Names

A Long Time Ago . . . .
In Many Forums away . . .
The Sniffer had a different name.
It was an average evening when the Sniffer was awakened by a light. He realized the keyboard was glowing. A voice from above told him to type
www.thedentedhelmet.com - - - afterwards, The Sniffer was annoyed by this green yet glowing keyboard, so he threw it into the hills of Mt. Sniff.

Only to later figure out there would be an attachment. Assuming there was a power to this keyboard, it was discovered in a crevace of icecycles in a desolate area of Mt .Sniff.

Little did this young Sniffer know how be enjoying the finest of scents. This power would give hime the name "The Sniffer"

For you see my friend, life is one big irony. There are questions but the answers are for us to figure out. We can play life out to be one big tragedy, or we can play life.

Oh yes, and one last thing.

Sniff on my dear brothers, Sniff on!

This is a great idea by the way, there are so many names that I've been wondering about...

Gilmore of OK - Glad to finally figure that one out, for some reason it always bugged me that I couldn't figure where your name came from.....

Tampa Fett - I love the 5150 reference, I'm a huge VH fan too.

Mirax - What?? You lost me at "Booster"

As for mine, pretty borring too but my name is Jason (Jay) and back in high school I played guitar in a couple of rock bands. I'm actually in my yearbook as the guy voted most likley to become a Rock Star. So J-ROCK stuck ever since.

By the way, this was all well before the Canadian TV series Trailler Park Boys! Where there is a charachter named J-Rock (That was weird when I first heard of him, not really the kind of guy you want to share a nickname with).
J-ROCK

Back in 1989, when Keaton's Batman hit the screen, my friends and I were extremely excited about our favorite hero. After seeing the movie (and a little under-age drinking), we waxed philosophical about the Dark Knight's relation to a modern ninja (we were also into 'ninja culture', having worn ninja costumes at Halloween for years on end; I wore a bat logo on mine that year).

After shooting down ideas about becoming superheroes (we were drunk, remember?), I did a rough comic sketch of my interpretation of the 'BatNinja', which eventually became my screen name and avatar.

Then there was RoboSquirrel...

my name came about many years ago, my friends always told me i was psychotic. So thats where that came from. I am a die hard Misfits fan so I added that to the psychotic. which brought upon the world Psychoticmisfit i threw the zero in there for good measure so it became Psych0ticmisfit. Ive used this handle for many years everything I sign up for all my emails everything.

I was popular with the ladies my last few years of HS, and had a gathering of lady friends. Somewhere among them the nickname started and spread like wildfire. It has stuck with me ever since.

My only wish was to gather a scent collection to rival yours. Alas, I am now semi-retired, restricted now to but one bikini. Do not feel pity on me, for I will be with you in spirit my dear brother, as you continue the quest for the ultimate scent

The gr8ness abides!:cheers

Actually, I remember when you're name was more than just "The Sniffer":)

I remember that name.lol I still talk about it!;)

Lets see, Shortimer52

When I was in the Marines my last year I was called a short timer. I though the name was cool so I used it as my AOL screen name, but shorttimer was taken. So I took a T out and went with Shortimer the 52 was the last two numbers to my MOS, 0352.

It's stuck ever since then, and I like it.

That's cool. The nickname all my lady friends gave me was "Giant Teddy Bear" :angry One girl called me that years ago and now girls call me that when they want to get on my nerves.

Shortimer-I never noticed there was only one T in there

I practice Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu) and "Chuan" in Mandarin is "Fist". And typically, the name of a Chinese Martial arts style usually ends in "chuan", ex. Long Fist, which is one of the more common styles, is "Chang Chuan" in Mandarin. And Jen, my name is Jennifer, is what I usually go by. And my Wushu is sometimes so bad, that I joke and say that when I'm performing my Wushu poorly, that I'm doing Jen Chuan. LOL!
