BEWARE OF EBAY SELLER tk-1771!!! WARNING!!!

hey brothers, i have to warn you about an ebay seller TK-1771...he is using pictures from some of our family members here to sell stuff...imparticular Man of War Studios' new boba fett boots...he is using the pics from MOW's auction and for sale thread here to sell some boots...not once does he mention anything about buying these boots from MOW, no credit given to MOW for his boots, or acknowledgment of using MOW's pictures for reference...eek:

he had an auction that ended the other day, and it had a .99 beginning bid on it for some MOW boots, with toespikes...i was watching it and it ended, so i contacted this seller to see if he would relist them...well, he did, and put them up at $129...which is fine, so i proceeded to try to get some information about the boots, mainly some pictures of the ACTUAL boots, not pics STOLEN from MOW, and i am sure you can guess what happened next...no reply, no pics of the ACTUAL boots, and then gave me excuses about not wanting to put crapy pics of the boots he has, and wanted to show a pic that was better...?????

also, he is using pics of Gabe's armor and softparts, attempting to blur out Evolution's trademark RED label on all of his pictures...he does claim to have bought Gabe's stuff, but there is no mention of him buying the boots from MOW...

i have copies off all the emails sent back and forth if anyone would like to see them....and to top all of this off, in his auction for a Republic Commander Helmet, the name "STAR FORTRESS" is mentioned...check it out here is the link to his store...

notice MOW's boots acution, Gabes armor auction with Evolution blurred out in the pic, and the Republic Commando Helmet where Star Fortress is mentioned...

i am warning my family of a potential fraudulent activity on ebay...i have been watching this guy for awhile now, and something is just fishy...if you dont smell the fish, then buy from him...but to me it stinks big time!!! :angry

I asked about the jetpack he was selling and he gave me the same answer about not having a camera or some such BS. Avoid this tool.

what is crazy is that he is claiming to be a tk...maybe so...but not supplying actual pictures of the items he is selling and using pics from respected sellers' auctions is just a red flag! being a tk means you are 501st, with higher standards in costuming...i dont know, maybe i am taking this out of line...i just thought people should be aware...i like the word tool...

I am pretty sure he is breaking several eBay rules. I am surprised MoW hasn't brought action against this guy yet.

i have been in touch with MOW, and i believe it is in the works...i have been bantering back and forth with this guy for most of the afternoon, so i have lots of goodies for MOW in this matter...i love it when the guilty just cant keep their mouths shut...

i have asked at least 10 times in my emails for pictures of the boots and the arena pack...nothing, none, nada, zip! he claims he has purchased them from him, but still cant provide pictures, and totally avoids the question all together...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY, FELLAS...YOU CANT GET ANY MORE SHADY UNDER THIS TREE!! :angry

Do we have any TDH'ers here in the Badlands Garrison that knows this guy? Maybe they have a better idea of what he has. Just a thought.

why would a 501st record be classified? really?

If he's from Canada, he's a hoser instead of a tool. Or maybe he's both.

As a member of the Badlands Garrison, the deputy web liaison and the Public Relations Contact for Vancouver, I can say that he doesn't show up on our roster : http://www.501st.com/members/garrisonroster.php?garrisonId=56

When you do a search for him, there isn't any link to show more, which says to me he's inactive and ripping people off is NOT something our Garrison would tolerate. I'm going to pass this whole situation over to our Command Staff and if there's any info to be passed on, I'll pass it on.

I got your backs, guys. I won't let someone tarnish our Garrisons reputation any more than I would let someone tarnish the reputation of the admirable vendors and good friends I have made on TDH - I'm a proud member of Badlands and TDH.... I love my Badlands family as much as I love my TDH family and I'm ferociously protective. Lemme see what I can see. And remember, judge people by what they do, not what they are.

I will say that this was for a brief (VERY brief) period of time a member of Badlands who trooped once years ago and then never again. He's been marked as inactive (which is why his record shows as classified) for several years.

cheers brother, and in all honesty, if he would just show pictures of the ACTUAL stuff that he has for sale, i would drop this in a heart beat...it is his business what he tries to sell something for on ebay, and whatever he wants to sell...it is the lack of pictures, and the willingness to use pictures of those boots from MOW's auction without any acknowledgement for ManofWarStudios that has gotten me all fired up! if he would just show some consideration to MOW and supply pictures of the actual items, we're fine and dandy!! =) since he refuses to do so, that just leads me to believe that he is trying to sell something that he actually doesnt have...PLUS he has used CAboots pics for his other boot auction, with no recognition for them either...how do we know these items are actually what he has?

Ummm. Well, sir....it seems my camera only takes pictures of others work then repeats this online in a manner that seems to be others work but really is mine. If I would have bought them.
