Armor Bin Decorating

Anybody else out there get bored and decorate their armor bin? I recently finished my biker scout, so while slowly acquiring Fett parts, I did this:

I still have some touch ups to do and the other side is empty still. I was thinking about doing a "Troop Tracker" where I can out an imperial cog sticker on it for each troop I do in the costume.


Anyway, share a pic of your armor bin if you've done something cool!

I painted my Boba Fett bin green and my Stormtrooper bin is white, but that is all.

I would like to do more actual decorating on them.

That's cool. I was thinking something for the Boba Fett bin that's inspired by his helmet colors would look cool.

Just thinking about this today as I get ready for a grade school troop this eve. I haven't personalised it at all.

When you walk back into a 501st room it does make it easier to spot your bin.

I started decorating mine this past summer. I've got more to do but I think this is a good start.

woah! That's cool. Is that a stencil or done by hand?

Thanks. I scaled and printed it from my computer, then used an exacto blade to cut it out by hand to create a stencil. I then hit it with a layer of silver followed by a layer of brown primer.

My first costume is a RotS Royal Guard, so I used leftover helmet paint to make some racing stripes on my bin. Should make changing faster, right? All joking aside, it will be easier to find my bin among everyone else's.
