This is really sad. Chuck was great to work with when I got my gauntlets from him about a year or 2 ago, I guess it was 2...anyways I contacted him in November and said that my wife wanted to get me gauntlets for Christmas and could he get them to me by then, he said sure, and I got them in with a couple of weeks to spare. Great communication and delivery was quick, quicker than expected even.
I just don't know what could have changed THAT MUCH to go from a trusted source with a great reputation and quick turn around to this. And it seems to have happened overnight..

Hey guys, this was 2 years ago... it wasn't Christmas 08, I think it was Christmas 06, so I don't see how that's favortism, I was just stating that he had quick turn arounds in the past and was great to work with and now that's all changed.

I have the same problem. I bought a set gauntlets and a jet pack from him for 700$. This was last jear in april and i get nothing till now. He sent me a mail in december that he ship it soon. Since that i heard nothing from him. :angry I can't do anything from germany too!

I hate seeing threads like this. It hurts everyone. From the person wanting a piece of kit, to the person making a new piece of kit.
While this is a buyer beware industry, It sickens me to see someone taking money for something they have no intention to deliver.
Some of the vendors here charge a premium. And theres a reason for it. They intend to deliver. They understand what its going to cost to make in both time and materials, to develop the patterns and to deliver it to your doorstep.
Im wondering if theres some sort of software that can be written to monitor orders and shipping/tracking information.
Example:
You want a set of rubber and foam widgets from me.
I post a run/list
I use a tool to generate the list.
The list is linked in threads here.
A true status about the item, price, delivery status, tracking information is tracked for the list
An email is sent to everyone in the list. When the item arrives satisfactory they click the link in the mail, it updates the status. They can comment also. So we have a realtime feedback system.
So you can go out and see that 'Stormrider' has 15 paid items, 14 shipped 1 pending.
Because seeing someone with 25 items ordered, 24 paid, and 1 shipped, might throw up a red flag.
Im getting ready to create an invoicing program for use for my personal stuff I create, ill think long and hard on how hard it would be to allow people to monitor things like that, automatically, and associate a TDH username with it.

the last thing i would want is for something bad to have happened to him...however, when people are still talking with him on MSN, yahoo, etc, i cant help but think he is just jacking people...sorry, i have no trust for the man, from personal experience to watching what is happening to others here and the hunter's lair as well...
if you ask me, maybe vendor's need to let loved ones, friends, partners, whatever, know that they do this kind of thing, and show them how to get on or log on, and be able to tell us if something bad has happened...it is just a lack of responsibility on his part, even if something did bad happen, seriously doubt it though...

Back when I was sick and out of commission for a couple weeks, I tried telling my mom (who only uses computer for email) how to log on to TDH and post a message letting everyone know what was up, and that I would get their stuff out as soon as I was able. She got very confused and couldnt figure out where to log in at. Trying to explain it from the couch wasnt workin out, so I finally had to give up and just hope that I got well enough to do it myself

No, nothing happened to him, I just think he got burnt out of doing the Star Wars stuff. I used to chat with him all of the time over AIM, and his priorities always seemed to be with his Predator costumes, and he would occasionally joke about making props subpar in comparison to what he used to make.
It's sad to see that all of this had to happen. I hope he actually finishes all of the work for the orders he took, I'd rather not him see that he got banned, so out of spite him intentionally not fulfilling his orders.

chuck has been chatting to me on yahoo since monday after i followed him up on my esb gauntlets i paid him for last year in october as i was getting excuse after excuse ,hes told me he will ship my stuff out today and give me a tracking number ...we,ll see :angry

Hey guys tonight chuck came thru and gave me a tracking number for my long awaited ESB gauntlets ,chuck said he would get them sent out by this tuesday or wednesday at the lastest and yeah he did it by today ..i will show you guys later when they arrive .

Talking about favouritism, anyone else notice how he can get a Sidearm holster to SpideyFett within an hour of asking, but can't get someone a pair of gauntlets they ordered 9 months ago?
