Anyone have any experience with this kit?

It looks nice, but then so does SFP stuff on ebay. Personally, I can't justify spending $100 on a child's costume that he'll outgrow in what will probably amount to a matter of months depending on the child's growth rate. We got my nephew a cheaper one for $50 from a costume shop and it looks like this... (this was before I spot fixed the belt with more velcro to make it sit higher.)

It had alot of the small details and looked great. I'm hoping the kit turns out well for you, as it will no doubt send the kid over the edge with happiness. Let us know how it goes.

Looks great. Hope you get it built before he has grown out of it!

How old is your boy?

My clone is just 2 and I will be scratch building a Fett from scaled WoF templates when he gets a little older.....plan on starting soon lol!

My boy is 7 now, but I have another son who is 1 1/2 so he will get it next. 100 dollars is nothing for a costume for my son, I've been goin all out every year for Halloween since he was 4, I'm not about to stop now. Next year I'll be starting on another Boba costume for him. I don't know, I just find it extremely more rewarding dressing up my son in elaborate costumes rather than myself, he gets a great kick out of it as well. Anyways, thx for the answers. I'm hoping all goes well.

One more question though. What should I use for an undersuit? I've been looking at cold weather under armor but that would be another 80 dollars for the pants and shirt, but I just can't find anything else that is form fitting and thick and strong enough to hold the armor up. Any suggestions?

you should send a PM to TMP (who posted pics of his Iron Man armour here a few months ago) and ask him.. he bought one for his kid and brought him and it to the Star Wars exhibit here it sweden..

Ah man! The small stormies look so CUTE!

Now I want a kid to dress up - a little interactive mannequin!
Guess I have to find a wife first tho :)

Well you could go to walmart and get a skeleton costume for cheap and just use the body suit. With the armor on the bones probably won't be visable. Walmart also carries the off brand of underarmor. Not sure if for younglings though.
