Happy birthday to StarWars! Didn't see it on the big screen until the prequels but I'm glad for the creation of that Universe. Honestly, if it wasn't for StarWars, many of us never would have become prop makers. Maybe, but not as many as there are today.
HAPPY BIRFDAY STARWARS!

I was 6 years old, and it was the 1st movie I had ever seen in a theater. My parents were worried that the cantina scene would scare me...hardly the case.

I wasn't even born for another few years, but remember getting to see it (in butchered form) on the big screen 20 years ago (it doesn't seem THAT long ago either!). My first experience with the trilogy was watching it over and over on VHS as a kid...

I was 8 and the whole family piled into the country squire woody station wagon and hit the local drive in . I was dressed in my footy pjs in case I got sleepy. Yeah that didn't happen. My first movie I can remember was Jaws gave me nightmares for months. These two movies are the only ones I can really remember being at to all these years later.

I was around when it came out. I was married, and so poor we had to wait for it to come out on "VHS" and rent it before we could watch it.....

Forgot to mention. Those were some of the good old days that I'm glad are gone. ESB was the first we saw in the theater....

I was 4 years old, I remember waiting in line to see it, and then begging to get back in line after the movie was over. 40 years, and tens of thousands of dollars later, things haven't changed too much.

My best friend Michael Montgomery and I sat in the same seat together... I think we were about 4 years old. I remember we came in late because we walked in during the first scene with the Millenium Falcon on Tattoine. I was hooked. I can't remember how many more times I saw it in the theatre. And then they had in on Network tv some years later. I recorded it on the VCR and watched that tape so many times it got stretched out.
