Zons ROTJ Fett Build (pic heavy)

Coming together nicely Aaron (y)

Thanks bud!!

Progress is slow going. I decided to go with a combination of magnets and snaps for armor mounting. Shoulders are on, knees are on, I've mounted the collar studs, and attached the collar to the back. Glue is drying on the chest and ab armor.

Quick question: What's the best way to connect the cod piece to the kidney plate and hold them in place? I know the belts will help with keeping everything in place but I'd like to get an idea of how you guys connect them and attach them to the flightsuit?

I use straps with industrial strength velcro with a neodymium magnet on each end of the strap to connect and hold them together. If that makes sense. I avoided putting holes in my suit in case I fluffed up.

Did a test fitting last night (minus the knees, backplate and pack). Still tweaking the placement of the armor, it's just a matter of moving magnets. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

The suit looks great so far! You should lower the chest plates, so you'll have less space between the chest and abdominal plates and more between the collar and the chest plates.

It's been a while but progress has been made. Jetpack ordered, and just got it back from paint.

Few items to get and i'll be done:

horsehair braids (being handmade by a friend)
shin tools (being made by another friend)
hoses and divers belt buckle (ordering soon).
