So i have an event coming up Sunday and needed to get my butt in gear and finish this refurb!
So today was the dreaded Chest emblem and shoulder emblem
So after procrastinating for a couple of hours being petrified to do it...i just went for it.....
And i couldnt be happier with the result. (well maybe if it was a touch higher up lol)
I did this by making stencils with my vinyl cutter from the design separations i did a few weeks back...spending 2hrs just trying to get the olive branch right lol. I then airbrushed it on in layers...white circle, blue circle/slash, olive branch, and finally the red tear and "F"
Next up is the shoulder emblem...which should be a walk in the park compared to this lol
This is amazing! IMO this should be a sticky the colors look perfect! I'm defintely going to try these once i get new armor! Working with rattlecans right now but these colors are perfect Lou! Keep it up!!
Wow I thought your last one was impressive , younsir have done justice to the armor. P.s the knees look a little dulled down to much it may be my eyes though [emoji4]
How do you mean Grenater? Since i'll be painting a new set for myself, and of course, constant commissions, just like to hear your opinion. In person they look a little different so i just want to see if maybe its just the picture? The reference i posted is over saturated, so the colors look more vibrant. But w all know Fett is far from "vibrant" lol
thanks for the paint list and all the progress pics. suit is looking great. I'll be pulling some stuff from here soon, as my RKD kit is on it's way. Keep up the good work.
I know you are just doing the armor ATM, but any ideas on Humborol colors for the helmet? specifically the red and tan?
Xtrachrispy - The best beige/tan color ive seen for the back panels is Floquil concrete. I found that mixing Humbrol 28+72 2:1 mix, give me almost the exact match to the floquil. The red i use Humbrol 73.
In the screenshots it looks more than a grey to me with no touch of green.............now I don't know what to do!!!! Is there a green touch in the grey you used what is only in the photo not visible? Please help a newbie!!!!
