WIP: jebby10 boba fett

jebby10

Jr Hunter
well i started towards the end of october. i always wanted to do a boba fett costume but thought it would be impossible until i came across the dented helmet. this is my costume so far. i did do a few things different though. i didnt add the yellow to the armor, i tried one spot and just didnt like the way it came out. i kept the vest the same color as the jumpsuit although i might end up changing that. i also went for matching spats and pouches to match my jumpsuit because i didnt like the kaki color on my costume. and i choose for thinner wookie braids so they would stay out of my way. something still doesnt look right though even though the camera flash made my costume appear brighter than it is it still seem off. i still have 2 months to tweak what ever i need tweaking. im not really going for 100% accuracy i just want to look exactly like boba fett to the average person. Any comments are welcomed.
thank you for your time.

That is one amazing looking suit there buddy, Looks like you went with all the good makers and your painting skills look great. Like you said your not going a 100% accurate so thats maybe why you think it dosent look right, the only thing that I would do is weather the cape, tear and rip the edges of it. Other than that I think the suit looks perfect.
Any chance of seeing a rear view so we can take a gander at the jetpack?

Great work bru. The costume might look a little off as you've omitted the yellow colour on the armour which probably reduces its apparent depth of detail. The airsoft shotgun blaster is also a little off. Great for a Mando Merc, but grab one of the nice replica EE-3s on offer on these forums and complement the rest of the quality Fett kit you have there.

he says hes not going for 100% accurate just look good enough for the average person...and no normal person would notice his rifle not being an ee3

thanks. thats exactly right i did use an airsoft shotgun, i bought it for 30 dollars on ebay then cut off the barrel and added t-track and a pvc barrell with a scope top, came aout to around 55 dollars. i didnt want to spend to much on the gun since i felt not many people would remember how it looked. i do intend on buying a real nice one soon. my cape does need weathering, i asked woodman specifically not to weather it cause i was going to do it myself but i just forgot.

Dude! You are doing GREAT!!! Add the yellow, weather the cape and IMHO the thigh pockets sre just a biit too low (about 3-4 inches). YOU ARE ROCKIN THE BOBA!!!!

All I'm saying is that he's spent a lot of good money on some top of the line kit and the inaccurate blaster detracts from how good the costume could be.
