WIP: Boba ESB Build

It's so weird seeing ESB gear on a tan flight suit! Haha. I'm excited to see how this all looks on you with the new blue FS. Everything looks really good!

I absolutely agree! I figured it's better than a naked mannequin, and thankfully the shoulder armor covers the "Ghostbusters" logo.

Looking good man.

Edit: It helps when you read all the posts before asking questions :wacko

Fettpride also sells the sidearm holster. I have one of his and it is awesome.

I got the jetpack harness set-up. I think the pack may be hanging a bit too high, so I may need to raise the jetpack hooks a bit. My wife took the pics quickly because I was worried the slits I cut in the vest might fray or tear as they are just that, slits right now. Need to get them stitched up before I mount the pack for more than a few seconds.

Great work, everything looks great! quick question, you are the second one i have seen attach the cape under the collar armor, is there reference for this? Above the collar under the stud is how I have always imagined it.... just curious :)

Yeah, look at where the screen-used top hooks are mounted at. Yours look to be a few inches below that, raising your pack.

Yep cape should hang from the stud.

Like said before just bring those hooks down a bit and you'll be set. Looking so good!

While with his ESB suit...yes, the cape needs to attach to the collar stud. With the other suits, it's up in the air. PP1,PP2,PP3....none connected the cape to the collar stud. With ROTJ as seen on-screen....sometimes it was attached to the collar stud, sometimes not. Examples:

....and also when he came up to the deck of the sail barge and jetpacked himself off, he didn't even HAVE a cape on.

That'll actually be easier, putting the cape on over the collar and under the stud, Thanks!
Silly question....are any of you able to dress your self? This seems like a time consuming costume to get in and out of and I can't imagine doing it without a helper.

While waiting for my Anovos TK, I decided to complete my ESB Boba. I ended up building a Biker Scout last year, joined the 501st and have had this project on display half finished for the past couple years. Ended up purchasing MOW's two-piece jumpsuit and dyed/weathered it the other day. Also attached the gauntlet hose, set up the thrusters and rocket on my jet pack so they're removable for transport , and did a few other odds and ends. I sold my Master Replicas helmet and have a new one on order from DVH. The flak vest desperately needs to be weathered as does the ammo belt, but it's getting there.
