Who makes accurate ESB gauntlets?

I've been looking for a pair of good ESB gauntlets too, but all i ever see are repainted ROTJ gauntlets. If you find a good pair or if anybody knows where to get some please let me know too. :)

I can't speak directly for the makers, but I think there will be offerings from a few people sometime soon. One has made both ESB and ROTJ before (very accurate) and the other has only made ROTJ (seem to be very accurate as well). I'll let them chime in if they wish.....

Of course, the only reason I know this is because I need a set of ESB too!!! :)

I think there is a whole list of us that want those babies. Hopefully the makers will see this thread and notice how high of a demand they are ;)

I have a question now...what makes the ESB and the ROTJ different from each other, other than the color, flame thrower, and painted details and buttons on the right gauntlet?

I have the reference CD, and I don't see the difference at all...at least not yet.

the grapling hook and housing are much thinner on the ESB than the ROTJ. There is only one hose on the right ESB compared to 3 on the ROTJ. There are no hoses on the left ESB compared to 1 on the RoTJ. I think that's about it. I could have missed something

I agree Lynn, but Doug may have been referring to the Visual Dictionary pic which does have a hose going to the back of the left gaunt rocket. Not accurate, but it's there. Maybe a SE version?

Some incarnations of the SE suit in promotional shots has a hose taped to the wrist laser.

Edit- Just wanted to add that I don't believe the left gauntlet hose ever made to the screen in either the ANH or Jedi SE shots.

I have been needed a pair of ESB gauntlets. Mine were a replainted ROTJ, but now it's time for something more acurate.

whoo hoo...sweet! the temp one I built to make it through halloween didn't even survive the suiting up process before falling off of the gauntlet. I guess that's what I get for using hotglue to hold it on.

Ooooh, that'll be nice :)
Give us a heads up as soon as you have something! I'm interested.
