Where does the cape attach

That beacon top definitely look copper in that image, but in another it looks black. Interesting...


More likely the top was made with copper, then painted in black and some of the paint got peeled off.

I am thinking the beacon top in those pictures is probably a bit of an optical illusion. Like "the dress." The picture it looks black in looks a bit overexposed.

I could be wrong, of course.

I think the beacon looks copper in the "copper" image because what you see as a copper color is the light from inside, where in the "black" image the light is off.

I have always had my cape attached in a ROTJ stunt configuration, attached to the vest under the backplate.
