US divers belt buckle

Quick question, I'v been offered a genuine US divers belt buckle, but have no idea how much they are worth, $65 posted btw.

Personally, it's more than I'd pay because they can be had for much less if you're prepared to search and wait but if it feels like a deal to you then go for it.

If it matters to you that much that it's genuine, then snag it. They're hard to find unless you're super patient. A stamped replica is half that price, and would take quite an expert to notice.

They usually go for between $55 and $65 when i see them on e-bay or other places when they have "Boba Fett" in the title or description. However like Andy mentioned, you can get them for much cheaper if you have the time/patience to wait. i found 2 on one divers belt on e-bay once for a mere $25. I sold the weights off the belt for $25. So i essentially got 2 buckles for free. That was a rare occasion but i have found them on the weight belt for between $10 and $30.

If you need it quickly, fullmetalfett does great replicas as well.

Yeah that's really on the top end of prices for a real one, still, being able to put one more piece in the parts box and not having to worry about it any longer is worth something.

Was it ever confirmed the US Divers version was the buckle actually used? There are many variations and as far as I can recall, no markings can be seen on the screen used belts. Anyone have any input?

Check local dive stores as well as eBay. Most divers aren't aware of the costume connection and will sell the buckles MUCH cheaper. I got mine for $10.00 and I got about 6 other "vintage" dive buckles from various manufactures too.
