US Army tent says "US"

So my wife, on a whim, bought a US Army tent off fleabay to be used on our outdoor play structure. After fiddling with the play structure over the summer, we decided we didn't need it. Low and behold, it seems to be the perfect material for a ROTJ cape. I put together a pattern and was getting ready to cut it up, when I discovered right there in the middle of the best area of material, this...

It's pretty faint, but it clearly says "US"

Just wanted to poll the group, would this make a cape MORE or LESS desirable?

Woodman is probably the guy to ask as he is one of the cape gurus around here but I'll venture a guess: if it's not on screen in the movie, it's less desirable (and I've never hear of anyone discovering that "US" is on the screen used cape).

My tent arrived with the same markings, actually. I just punched a blaster hole right through the "US" and added a little black overspray around the hole with my airbrush and bingo, no more "US". So it's still salvageable as a cape if that's what you're ultimately wondering.

I've done more than 100 and no reason you can't use the same section and either weather out that spot (provided it's in a spot you can that won't ruin the cape) or just flip it over. The stitching in the seams is not that different on the reverse. Not so much as to force the need to scrap the shelter.
