TK/TS/DZ-50175 Boba Fett ESB WIP

Update time again:

I epoxied the screws for the collar-backplate-connection to the armor and did the same with washers on the collar to make the holes stronger...

Then I tried on the harness, jetpack and the armor REALLY OFTEN...

I think the position of the jetpack is good and I feel very comfortable wearing it. I wonder how it feels after hours of trooping... :D

Now all I have to do is getting the white strapping and the metal rings sewed together and the jetpack can rest until I paint it...

There was not much time to work on my Boba the last weeks...but I used every 5-10 minutes between children, work and christmas preparations...

First I put some screws on the back of my armor with epoxy glue. The I put all the parts with tape on the vest and after that made holes for the screws.

The armor looks different on all those screen caps...every time he moves the gaps between the plates are wider or thinner.

Here are finally some pics putting everything on me what is possible at the moment. I realized because Bullock and me have totally different body types I will never look like him. He is much taller and thinner than I am....

And I managed to put the visor in place by gluing in screws. Next thing will be to install the servo kit....

So much stuff to put inside the helmet! There is nearly no space left to put my head inside if the batteries and the servo kit is installed!

IMG_1937.jpg

Mounted the servo with plastic screws and epoxy clue...

Put a magnet in the helmet and a metal plate opposite the magnet in the removable ear:

And I did the physical damage:

And here is a video of my servo kit moving up and down:

I love your build! Recieved my servo and light set from salamanderking last week. Hope to fit in my bucket within the next two weeks. ;) Keep up the great work!

I am happy I got something new to show!!!

The last weeks I started using my airbrush. I am a total beginner and sometimes it drives me nuts...sitting in the basement of my house and getting nothing done after one hour because nothing works... But slowly it gets better!

I put the primer on my jetpack parts and the sidearm and started finishing the shin tools to get more exercise with the airbrush. If you want to read an excellent thread about shin tool building and painting read this:
