For those who buy girths

Just a helpfull tip when buying a girth belt from any dealer online. When you order a belt in any size just remember that they are all two inches smaller then the size stated. The reason for this is to allow the girth to stretch over time. They are used to hold on the saddle and ride underneath the horses belly so they stretch with extended use. The belt is measured from buckle to buckle. Just a helpfull reminder when ordering.

I wear 34/35" waist pants and I ordered a 34" girth which arrived a few days ago. I found it was a little smaller than I wanted but after stretching it a bit I found it was just right.

How much of a gap should you have between the buckles (for the webbing ) ?
