Stuffing/filling out the pouches

Any ideas on how to fill the jump suit and cloth ammo pouches. I tried several DVD cases, the width worked out nicely but they are little too tall. So I may need to buy several DVD's I don't care about ruining. Any other methods to fill the pouches?

I was contemplating filling them out too. I was going to justv take some newspaper crumple it up and stuff it it in there. Seems like it would work

old socks? That's what I used in the bottoms to fill them for weathering the jumpsuit and belt pouches, and it seemed to work very well, folded/rolled to match the shape and depth of the pockets.

Make a box out of abs and have the top open and the front cut out so you can put stuff in it and if you use a voice amp the front is open and the volume can go out easily

The ESB versions seem more boxy than ROTJ. Mine are stuffed with thick batting. I kept peeling a little off till they looked like real costume

I use foam and foam rubber, to build soft-boxes. You can make them to fit a sound-system and store your smartphone, keys, wallet, etc. and the side pockets keep their shape.

The only thing I've learned from this thread is that people will try anything before doing the easiest and most normal method that's been used since this forum started over a decade ago.

Use foam.
