Came back from vacation today to a pile of boxes !


Unfortunatly only two two of them were fett stuff .



Got my gauntlets in today and they are beautiful ! Unfortunatly they do not fit me so if anyone wants them I'll be selling them .


I also got a MLS ESB blaster second hand !

Still waiting on two sets of armor to show up and my helmet which should be shortly !

Got my RKD armor in today and it's amazing !! Can't wait to start painting it ! Well I kind of sanded one piece and latex primer already

You've got some good stuff there! I can say from experience, it pays off in the end to get the quality parts from the get go. It'll save you time and money from having g to rebuild/paint everything over and over again. Best of luck with your build.

My thoughts exactly , i figured might as well pay for it now rather than do it all over upgrading down the road ! I lurked here for a while and waited to get all of the good parts before I even started . Thank you !

First panel painted , it's not perfect by any means ! I took the templates and kind of free handed and took my artistic liberties with it . Not totally sold on the green yet need to mess with it a little more . Any thoughts or comments welcome and appreciated !!

So the armor changed a lot in the course of today , didn't like the green so after work went to the hardware store and bought new green . Masked off all the damage I did before and re sprayed it . Then I black washed it and steel wool'ed it to the way I liked it then matte cleared all of it . First test fit of the armor went good . Decided to use Velcro to attatch the plates . Pictures don't do the color and detail justice at all , I will have to take photos in the actual sun tomorrow .

Got my fettronics V4 in yesterday second hand from a member here got them installed and added more Velcro to the vest and plates to be more sturdy . I hate how dark all my photos are I'll try and get lighter ones today or tomorrow when it's not raining so hard .

Still need to weather the cod and clear it but first time I've had all my finished torso pieces on with my cape and Wookie braids , kind of felt like a fett !

It's always nice to try it on. Where is the chest diamond?
I also found that if I opened my photos in any sort of photo editing program and rotated it around before posting, they wouldn't go sideways.

yeah it feels good to wear something I put together !! I keep forgetting g to stick it on the vest hahaha it's weird the photos go sideways then when you click it it's right side up ? Thank you !

Got my gauntlets base painted , it's gloss so I'm going to sand it down weather them then black wash then matte clear ! The only issue I'm having is they want to rotate on me the flame thrower is stupid heavy as it is aluminum !! Might need to figure out some padding

Is it just the light or does the paint on some areas of the gauntlets look overly applied? I think I'm seeing a drip on the left and some spider crumpled paint on the right....

Side question: Which Boba Fett figure do you have underneath the Captain Phasma helmet? It looks pretty sweet! (as does the Captain Phasma helmet )
