Shin tool fixing question.

Guys,

Having recently completing my ESB Fett, and awaiting my first troop in it, I have a small question.

How do you secure your shin tools in the pockets ??

I am thinking that small fingers may take shine to them, and before you know it.. whoosh.. off they go..

Cheers.

I was thinking about this the other day mate.
What I was going to do was, glue small bits of velcro to the tools, then sew piece inside the pockets to hold them in place. That way if any one tries to take them you will at least feel them tugging at your leg.
Would also like to know though if there are any better alternatives :D

Never had a problem with it:

1) Look where they are. Even little kids would have to be on their hands and knees or bending down to get to them. Most of the time, they are looking at your face or your gun.
2) The pockets on most of the suits tend to be just bigger than the respective tools, so they tend to be snug enough that you would feel someone tugging down there
3) If things are so crazy or you are so surrounded that you'd have a difficult time seeing or monitoring something like that, you should have a wrangler or handler nearby anyway
4) There's so much going on with the costume, that the shin tools are generally the last thing anyone notices -- especially since only the tops peek out.

It's not with the worry of them being pinched, it's more that mine slip down into the pockets

Oh, that? I just stuffed some rolled up duct tape or newspaper in the bottom of the pocket until they were at the right level. I go pretty low tech on this stuff. lol

I have never had any issues with theft or messing for that matter, I am Interested to know the depths of pockets out there since you brought it up.
