SE upgrade WIP

So Ive ordered some armor from RKD for a semi-complete overhaul of my Fett, in the meantime Ive been sculpting my own armor. Im looking for any feed back or suggestions before I go into complete armor production. I know the green is too dark, it was all I had laying around for a test paint, and Im smoothing out the surface and cleaning up the lines as well. Feel free to make suggestions or comment. Thanks guys.

Using Rafals stencils is not a good idea for SE...theyre for Magic of Myth not Special Edition ROTJ...theyre similar but theyre not the same

Duly noted, which stencils would be better? Are you saying for paint pattern, shape or both?

That's correct! I made the ROTJ stencils using all available ROTJ Hero images, and for the parts that are not/partially visible, I used the exhibit images. At a first look, the ROTJ Hero and its replacement/stunt parts are the same, but most of the weathering/scratches are different and sometimes miss-placed; not to mention the dent forms and its positions from each ROTJ type armor.
The ROTJ Hero had/has the ESB Hero abdominal plate, the Pre-Pro #3 collar and cod, and the Promo #1 chest plates repainted (the left chest plate was dented to look like the ESB left plate). Most of the armor is present in the Mom/DaG/SWtE exhibits, except the right plate (the dented one) which was replaced with the repainted ESB Hero right chest plate and the cod & back plates, which are unaltered Promo parts.
The ROTJ SE had/has the ESB Hero left chest plate and the Pre-Pro #1 right chest, abdominal, collar and cod plates. The whole armor is present in the AoSW/C-IV exhibits.

Thanks Raff, I know its been a while since I was actively building on my Fett, and Ive checked the gallery, minus some additional scratches on the armor pieces, the paint scheme/ patterns seem to be the same to me. Am I missing here? Its been about two years since I got my 501st approval, and I used the same templates and stencils from Raff, has something changed that Im missing? Ive also checked out some of the other more recent SE builds and they seem the same as well. By all means correct me if Im wrong.

Its because people dont get down to the details no offense but theres ALOT different like raf said...plus the damage on the gaunts and weathering...its all pretty different...the black splatter, its like a pair of identical twins they look the same but the more you look the more different they are.
For example look at the decal...below the decal, the black splatter, the patch of silver above the yellow on the bottom of the plate...and thats just a few little things.

I see what you mean F4R, the paint patterns are indeed very similar but different in the minor details. This paint job was primarily for the test pull of the armor plate, I do not intend on using this piece of armor for anything more than a guinea pig for testing paint and fit. I would also like feed back on the armor plate itself, shape, size dimensions etc.. Changing up the paint pattern and adding the detail will come later when I get my armor from RKD.
