Scratchbuilt Fett Boots

Silver Fett

Active Hunter
For the past couple of weeks I've been in the progress of making my own Boba Fett boots. I've searched for days via online and near by stores to find some sort of boots/shoes to provide a building base for my boots. I found some boots that were perfect to start on but they were nowhere near my size, 13. Then as luck would have it, days later I find the PERFECT shoes and they were in my size!(y)

I brought them home and started working on them right away. I used reference pics from here and TK-409.com. After a couple days of painting, the boots were near finished, but I'll most likely add another coat of paint soon. I dont have a trained Boba Fett eye for detail, But I hope these boots are at least a C+. Comments welcome.:cheers

Here are some comparison shots of before and after....

Not too shabby! I like the overall shape of them! If only you could figure a way of making the sole look flat. Maybe fill in the ridges with goop or something? Just a thought.

Im heading to a craft store tomorrow to pick up some more paint. While Im their, I'll see if I can find something to help fix the problem. Any idea on what I need? Thanks:cheers
