ROTJ gauntlets

After a few days of trimming, fitting and attaching some hinges, I started painting my gauntlets.
Once again, these pieces were painting strictly with the "layering" method.
I also used the Montana Gold spray cans as well.
They still need some pretty extensive adjustments and I need to paint and attach all of the greebs. All in all I'm pretty happy with the result.
I think I used about 8 different shades of paint(not including the base coat of silver.
Constructive criticism is appreciated.

all i can say is that the hinges seem to be very prominent. they wouldn't be nearly so visible if perhaps you put them on the inside and held them in place with some jb weld or something that'll bond anything.

These look awesome. Once again well done!!!

The hinges are the only thing I might have changed. I would have probably move the plates to the inside of the gauntlet. However if it means ruining your paint job, I'd leave it alone.

Again... great job!

I agree. The hinges are a little too prominant, but I think it's the only way to attach them securely. I really don't want to have to worry about these things falling apart after I troop with them once or twice. I like my stuff to be permanent.

Actually, you could have used stanley hinges and place em on the inside. Allowing the look on the outside to be accurate but securely held on the inside.
