Hey tdh'ers,I am in the market for a rotj jumpsuit but as always i am pretty much the definition of poor, so my budget consists of $100. which means evo props is pretty much the only way to go. I am dreadful at sewing so thats not really an option for me. Now i know there has been alot of bad expierences in the past with evo for alot of you but from what ive seen scanning the forum the flightsuit has had pretty positive reviews. So my dumb question for the day is do you recommend the flight suit from evo?If not do you have any advice or suggestions to help? I know ladysewforus is the way to go, and her stuff looks amazing! but i just cant afford it......yet.....stupid fett bug

I agree I think Christian Cucblack would be a better bet, he tailors the suit to your measurements. The suit looks pretty good from everything I have seen, I am going to pick one up and get a look in person pretty soon.

I don't think he has anything for sale on the bay right now, but is selling through his website (I think) and also through facebook. I think his suit is 110.00 plus shipping. IMO though much better then Evolution. Worth a shot for a tight budget.

I'm new here, so forgive me if this sounds like sacrilege:
My wife has a sewing machine, and I'm not afraid of trying to learn how to use it. Are there people who buy a flight suit from a military supply company and just dye the suit then add the pouches and pockets? It would seem to be a more budget friendly way of making the flight suit. I know this isn't the right color, but I was thinking something along the lines of this:
Tru-Spec Poly / Cotton Twill 27/P Flight Suits @ MilitaryGear.com

Any thoughts?

there have been some people who have made stellar suits themselves, but i recommend getting one thats white or off white so you can dye it the right color after your done sewing. kinda dissapointing to spend so much time on something and not have it the right color you know?
