Resculpting my Fett armor

RKD you really amaze me, the build, the paint up, love the layered coats gave it some depth and reality, the whole rig would be proud to wear, stand tall man! huge effort and time.(y)

Thanks Roba, appreciate that bro! I'm by no means an expert, but I like to think that I get by lol ;) Your gaunts in your thread came out freakin amazing by the way...really good work my friend (y)

Thanks Larry ;)

Here's a few quick pics of some of my V2 knees that I recently assembled for a client. He didn't want them primed so I snapped a few shots before putting them in his box. Enjoy!

Thanks RF...yeah it's hard to get some good shots of the black cause it just doesn't like light, and it's hard to show off that the V2's are actually one piece of plastic...the outer shell (as opposed to my V1's where the outer shell is three pieces)

Where did you order the magnets from? Is there a specific brand that you recommend?
Hi Shtey,
I believe I ordered them from either "magnets4less.com" or "emovendo.com". You'll probably have to look through both of them a bit to find some similar ones. I'd go with 10lb'ers, should be more than enough strength to hold the plates on.

Did you use a magnet for the center chest diamond?

Thanks for all that you do Will.

Sorry Steve, I didn't even see this till now.
Yes sir I did (although I'm sure you've got it sorted already by now). Thanks for following brotha :)

So, yeah, this just happened the other day....thanks Rafa for your awesome templates.

Adopt Adapt improve. Great to see an already great maker up his game.

So true! It is an excellent feeling when you see that someone (in this case our very talented RKD, or Will) materializes your 2D work into a 3D piece.

Keep up the already great work!

Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words ;)
That was one of the pieces that had been bugging me for quite some time and I was glad to get rid of the old mold and replace it with the new one on the shelf!
I do have plans to remake the entire kit (albeit a bit smaller) using Rafa's awesome (and accurate) templates. Stay tuned!

What Will want to say about my armor templates being a bit smaller, is the fact that I realized that some of my measurements were off, so I reduced all the armor parts (except the back plate and the knees) with around 3%, this way my templates are now in WoF's medium range. The templates will be updated as soon I will finish the knee parts break down too (I already have the cod plate 90% done).

Thanks again Will for the nice comments!

Actually what I meant was that the new V3 set will be smaller than my current V2 stuff, sorry about the confusion. Either way, WOF medium range is EXACTLY what I'm aiming for with this. Thanks again Raf!

Wow...this is mad impressive! I will be asking for all sorts of advice once I get my kit from you and start my 1st build. Thanks for sharing!!!
