Hi Guys,

I need some expert advises here :D... I have a doubt and I want to knwo what do you all think.

I'm not 100% sure but looking at some ESB pics, it seems like there is no vertical "cords" in the center of the belt... (with vertical cords I mean those raw of cord that keep the horizontal/main cords together)...

Here we have some of the references WE ALL HAVE SEEN tons of times :D

I cant see that vertical cords in the center, but not sure... what do you all think ??? Would be a good idea to removed it and then dye it ? to get a nice and accurate ESB girth belt ???

Here you have some pics of what I did with mine:
What do you think ???

Look closely at the pics you posted.
The vertical lines are present,
just hard to see as the original girth is made by a different manufacturer than yours.

Depending on the materials used in the girth, if the threads used to do the vertical "gathers" are a different type than in the main cords, they'll take dye differently and give more of a contrasty appearance.

yeah, Slave1pilot's right, you should have left it alone. besides, that belt you have is a ROTJ color. the belt I'm doing for you will be a burgundy/wine color.
