So Ive been collecting parts for my Fett build for over 6 years and Im getting to a point were I can see it will be finished,
Ive spent that time sourcing all original found parts, the best replica parts I can find and sculpting and casting other parts,
Ive been collecting old vintage Floquil paints, tested littearlly 100s of paint colour combanations,
Im attaching the armour using the screen accurate nylon nut and bolt through brass eyelets, all correct size all vintage where possible,
The gaunts are my own sculpts, i used Arts originals as refference and heaps of pics, specially for the left PP2 gaunt, I judt need to make the add on parts like the flame trougher and all the add ons for the right gaunt,
Ive dyed many samples till I found a colour I liked and I think its pretty good, its a colour Ive not seen any one use, called Gun Metal
Ill post more pics of my parts over the next few days, and hope to continue this thread as I go,
All I need to get to finish it is the amo belt which I think Ill make using white vynle and paint it brown like the real one, need to make the Jettpack and make the gloves and purchase new knee dart set and the darts for the boots,
Any way hope others enjoy the build and can give constructive critiec were needed

I'm currently having a vest made, using a thick pressed silk/cotton Polly blend material, there was only 1.2 meters left on the roll (fingers crossed that there is enough)
I've been looking for years for a fabric to match the originals and it is the best match I found so far,

PP2, my personal favorite looking Fett of all time.

“Six years collecting parts” May sound a bit crazy but I also spent about five years collecting parts so I feel your pain man, plus it takes someone who’s a bit crazy to undertake a PP2 Fett. As you may know I too have a PP2 build going on. I’m no expert but please do let me know if you need any assistance Brother. I love your work on the gauntlets man, everything is looking super cool, very nice. Good luck on your build Brother.

Thanks for the support guys,
Syper, Yes I've been continually watching your progress thread as well. It prompted me to get some speed up on my PP2,
And I agree with your assertions, you do need to be a bit mental to undergo this build,
Like the helmet paint job the whole costume is deceptively complex,

Looking great! You've an eye for detail. Im loving your armor paint job and the gauntlet sculpt. You nailed some of the nuances that most people miss altogether.

Looking cool. Is the top of the gun... the part the large end of the teleScope connects to..is that a found part? If so, can you tell me what it is? I was under the impression it was a scratch made part. Thanks.

Really appreciate all the positive comments,
Keegan, thanks I've literally spent hundreds of hours on the left top gaunt, well on each part actually,

Spy007, the main body of the blaster is a mix of found parts with sculpted,

Ok so tonight I made a tester neckseal, this was just a practice run, To see how this fabric looks and how it goes with the dye,
The fabric I'm using I personally think is a really good contender for the real one, it is call silk dupon, been looking for years t find a fabric that looks right, fingers crossed on this stuff
I'll be having a new neckseal made over the next few days not by my self, and I'll go a it lighter on the dye for the final product,
I' need to work out how to post pics from my phone

On It! Bagels, your patches are packed and ready to ship.

PrePro2 I'll send you a set of patches for free (only cause your doing a pp2 build) but I’ll need you to pick up the shipping if it’s over $5 bucks. I know your down under so pm me your address please and I’ll get back to you.

So I've been slowly working on this, finished the vest spent ages on the pattern getting it uber accurate, only it's to small needs to be about an inch longer,
So I'll be making a new one in the near enough future.
